Case study: Iron Mountain
The brief
We worked with Iron Mountain on a series of internal signage and branding projects at their new warehouse facilities at Symmetry Park in Rugby.
Starting at Rugby 3, a newly constructed logistics unit covering approximately 395,000 sq ft, we supplied and installed a wide range of bespoke wall graphics and internal signs to bring the Iron Mountain branding into the building.
Following this project, we returned to complete further branding at Rugby 5, another substantial warehouse facility of approximately 391,000 sq ft.
Large-Scale Warehouse Wall Graphics
A large part of the Rugby 3 project involved installing extensive vinyl wall graphics throughout the warehouse and adjoining staff areas.
This was installed up to 1.5 metres high to help protect walls and corridors from everyday scuffs, marks and general wear and tear.
With over 250 metres of wall graphics to install, careful setting out and consistent positioning were important to achieving a neat, professional finish across the various areas of the building.
Bespoke Internal Signage
Alongside the wall graphics, we manufactured and installed several signs to provide additional branding throughout the facility.
The main entrance featured bespoke aluminium composite flat cut lettering with digitally printed faces, mounted away from the wall to give the signs a raised finish.
We also produced a branded feature for the kitchen area using the same design, again mounted on spacers to create depth.
These smaller details helped tie the different areas of the building together, giving the offices, entrances and staff spaces a consistent appearance.
Further Branding at Rugby 5
Following the work at Rugby 3, we were pleased to be invited back to complete further internal branding at Rugby 5.
At approximately 391,000 sq ft, this was another large warehouse facility requiring a coordinated approach to internal signage and graphics.
Our continued involvement allowed us to build on the work completed at Rugby 3, helping Iron Mountain maintain consistent branding across its Rugby premises.
The Finished Result
The projects at Rugby 3 and Rugby 5 are good examples of the range of warehouse and industrial signage we can provide.
From hundreds of metres of wall graphics to bespoke raised lettering and smaller interior signs, we were able to manufacture and install a complete range of branding elements to suit the different areas of each facility.
